YouTube: Thousands of UK Users Unable to Access Social Media site

Thousands of Users have been unable to access Youtube today (Monday 16th August 2021) due to an apparent fault with the companies website.

The technical issues appeared to have start around 10am GMT when millions of requests to the website left visitors with many grey boxed and no content.

Originally, the advice was for users to clear their browsers Cookies and Cache, but this made not difference. The bug seems to have affected by free and Premium users.

The Youtube Creator Studio appears to have been unaffected.

According to the website downdetector.co.uk, the issue has affected many users; most from the UK.

Thousands of users were left unable to fully access youtube.com.
